Tarter belief, that the alien was "benign" contrary to the astrophysicist, Stephen Hawking is warning people to be careful with the aliens, because they want to exploit the Earth.
"When Stephen Hawking warned that the alien may be trying to conquer or colonize the Earth, with great respect, I do not agree," said Tarter. "If aliens could come to Earth, they might just want to explore. Considering the age of the universe, we humans of Earth, may not be the first intelligent beings who make contact with aliens."
Next month, Tatter and scientists, as well as ET observers will gather in Santa Clara, California, in the event SETICon II, discuss the chances of humans in the universe and the future search for life beyond Earth.
Previously, the Discovery Channel series, Stephen Hawking says, the existence of billions of galaxies out there to make the existence of life forms other than humans, to be rational.
He warns people to be careful in making contact with alien life forms. The alien may not be friendly.
Meanwhile, a senior scientist in astrophysics from Harvard University, USA, Dr Howard Smith, believes it is less likely for us, humans, to find aliens. Even so, almost no sense to make contact with them.
The discovery of 500 planets outside our solar system or extrasolar Earth-like, not necessarily make the greater the possibility of meeting an alien.
